The KurdSave browser extension is a companion to the KurdSave desktop
download manager. This policy explains exactly what data the extension
accesses, why, and where it goes. In short: the extension communicates
only with the KurdSave application installed on your own computer. It
does not send your data to Dilshad.Digital or to any other online server.
What the extension accesses
Session cookies for the sites you download from,
including any site you are signed in to. These let the KurdSave app
complete downloads of files and videos that require you to be signed in.
Download and media URLs, and the request headers
(User-Agent and Referer) the page used, so the download continues with
the same identity the browser would have used.
Your extension settings (whether auto-capture is on,
your capture rules, the notification toggle), stored on your device.
How that data is used
The information above is passed to the KurdSave desktop application
on your computer using Chrome's Native Messaging โ a direct, local
channel between the browser and a program you installed.
The desktop app uses the cookies/headers solely to perform the
downloads you request.
Settings are read and written locally to keep your preferences.
What the extension does NOT do
It does not transmit any data to Dilshad.Digital
servers or to any third party.
It does not sell or share your data.
It does not include analytics, advertising, tracking
pixels, or remote code.
It does not build or transmit a history of the sites
you visit.
Data storage and retention
Settings persist in the browser's local extension storage until you
change them or remove the extension. Cookies and headers are forwarded
to the local app at the moment of a download or session sync and are not
retained by the extension beyond a short in-memory cache used to complete
the current action. Cookie files written by the desktop app live on your
computer and are governed by the KurdSave application.
Permissions
The extension requests broad host access because a download can originate
from any website. Access is used only to read the cookies/headers needed
for the download you initiate and to detect playable media on pages you
open. Per-permission explanations are provided on the Chrome Web Store
listing.
Children
The extension is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children.
Changes
We will update this page if our data practices change and revise the "last updated" date above.
